Nuvia Secures Major Health Physics Contracts under Collaborative Procurement Framework

Nuvia has successfully secured several significant contracts to provide Health Physics Services across the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) estate.

The contracts have been awarded as part of a four-year collaborative procurement framework that brings together NDA site license operators for the procurement of shared goods and services, allowing individual competitions at each site.

With competitions at Dounreay, LLWR and each of the Magnox sites now complete, Nuvia is delighted to have maintained its existing presence across NDA sites, and has secured significant additional work at Harwell, Wylfa and Oldbury. This achievement is an excellent endorsement of Nuvia’s Health Physics capability.

Greg Antill, Nuvia’s Health Physics Business Manager said:
We are very happy to have retained our existing work, reflecting well on the performance of our operational teams. New wins at Wylfa, Oldbury and Harwell have consolidated Nuvia’s position as the largest independent UK provider of health physics services. These contracts help deliver the enhanced business continuity required by the Company’s business strategy. We look forward to competing for the remaining NDA sites and to working with our sister companies to maximise our penetration in the global health physics market.
