Nuvia continues to impress with its ongoing commitment to a proactive safety culture

Nuvia has once again secured the RoSPA Engineering Services Sector Award 2016 in competing with companies across engineering disciplines; this is the second time that Nuvia has secured the award since 2014. This also included a Silver Award under the RoSPA Fleet Safety category, the first time Nuvia has been entered under this category.

On top of this, 2016 becomes the 19th consecutive year that Nuvia has been recognised for performing at RoSPA’s gold award standard, in turn leading to 4 years of the RoSPA Order of Distinction.

Finally, in this year’s awards, Nuvia was shortlisted for the Sir George Earle Trophy, the highest possible prize awarded to the overall winner selected from the 22 Sector Award winners; placing Nuvia firmly in the top 3 of over 2000 entries.

Terrassa Budworth, Chief Executive of The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) is quoted as saying: “(The Sir George Early Trophy) is the most prestigious health & safety award in the world”

Mike Lewis, Head of Assurance for Nuvia said “Nuvia is delighted to again be recognised in these esteemed awards, understanding that this is not a “run of the mill” occurrence, and should not be taken for granted. This recognition is as a direct result of the hard work and diligence of every employee who keeps their own safety and the safety of others at the forefront of their minds. Whether we are working on a client site, at a Nuvia office or whilst out driving on the road, our commitment to safety means we must all continue to live by our E6 mantra – the safe way is the only way!
