The following topics are covered in the theoretical sessions in this one day course:

• Introduction to Hazard Assessment
• The HAZOP technique
• The results of the HAZOP and their place in the risk assessment process
• The Fault Schedule
• Interface with other disciplines

Delegates are invited to participate in a group exercise which enables them to put into practice the theoretical concepts they have learnt.
