SDP SUPPLIER FORUM 2012

VNS is hosting a Silos Direct encapsulation Plant (SDP) Supplier Forum

VNS brings together the nuclear expertise of Nuvia Limited and the construction prowess of VINCI Construction UK to deliver a powerful EPC capability for Sellafield Limited and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.

VNS is undertaking the design and delivery of SDP, the NDA’s largest legacy waste management project in collaboration with Sellafield Limited.

The half-day Supplier Forums will be held on the morning of the 21st and 22nd February 2012. These events will be hosted by VNS to present the supply chain opportunities associated with SDP.

Delegate places are restricted to 2 per organisation.

The format for the sessions will allow suppliers to gain an understanding of the project as a whole and hold targeted discussions with VNS and Sellafield Limited team members from the appropriate work streams.

Key points during the Forum

– Presentations from the VNS and Sellafield Limited teams.

– Break-out sessions.

– Procurement team members and Project Managers on-hand to discuss specific work streams, including the opportunity to register particular areas of interest.

The event will be held at a venue near to the M6/M56 motorway junction in Cheshire with easy access to rail links and both Manchester and Liverpool airports.
