Safety First for NUKEM

On 5 April, NUKEM was delighted to receive confirmation from RoSPA that the Company has once again been awarded a Gold Medal for Occupational Health and Safety.
This is the tenth consecutive year NUKEM has achieved this high standard which meets the criteria for the RoSPA President’s Award.
The Company’s SHE Manager David Adams, said
"I am absolutely delighted that we have received this special award. It is a great achievement. Our safety performance continues to improve - in fact we currently have the lowest accident frequency in the Company's history! This is an excellent situation and something that we can all be proud of. However it is not something we intend to be complacent about and safety will continue to come first throughout the Company.”
