Relocation at Risley

After eighteen months’ detailed planning, design and refurbishment, and coinciding with the Company’s renaming and re-branding, 130 NUKEM staff have relocated from Darwin House to Chadwick House at Birchwood Park, Risley.
NUKEM has its Headquarters at Daten Park at Risley and nearly 1000 staff based in offices across the UK who provide engineering design, consultancy, decommissioning and radiation safety services to a wide range of clients in the UK and overseas.
The staff involved in the move at Birchwood consist of the Company’s Project & Engineering Services Group which provides all aspects of project management and engineering design; the Commercial Services Division which provides estimating, planning, contract, quantity surveying and cost management services; and a small team of Consultants who specialises in safety case writing, risk assessment and optioneering; waste management; and radiometrics.
