Opening of New Offices for RWE NUKEM

On Wednesday 12 April the RWE NUKEM Board of Directors were very pleased to welcome the Hon. Jamie Reed, MP for Copeland, who performed the opening ceremony for Robinson House, the new regional base for RWE NUKEM at Westlakes Science & Technology Park, Cumbria.
RWE NUKEM Limited is part of the international RWE NUKEM Group and is the UK’s largest independent nuclear engineering, consultancy and radiation safety services provider. The Company has been expanding rapidly over the last year and now employs over 1000 staff within the UK. The Company is currently involved in some of the most challenging nuclear major projects both here in the UK and overseas, often working with its sister company colleagues from Germany and the USA.
Guests at the opening ceremony included Dr Ian Roxburgh, Chief Executive of the NDA and Peter Hensman, Chairman of Trustees of the Cumbria Community Foundation (CCF). The occasion also featured the presentation to the NDA of its Corporate membership certificate of the CCF.
