RWE NUKEM & BNES Decommissioning & Radioactive Waste Management Course

A five-day intensive training course on decommissioning and radioactive waste management was held at the Manchester Conference Centre from 27 September to 1 October, 2004 inclusive.
The course was organised jointly by RWE NUKEM Limited and the British Nuclear Energy Society (BNES) with RWE NUKEM supplying the technical expertise and the BNES supplying administrative support.
The course was well attended by participants from as far afield as Spain and Australia. Altogether the course was a success and the BNES has already asked RWE NUKEM for a second training course to be conducted sometime in March of next year. So watch this space!!
