Operating from 6 locations across Cumbria, their state of the art training centres includes the ENERGUS facility which boasts a world class 1068sq metre engineering workshop for over 120 learners to develop their skills in their first year of training. The workshop comprises of six main areas including; fabrication, machining, electrical maintenance, mechanical maintenance, bench fitting and Computer Aided Design (CAD) Room.

GEN II has been awarded numerous accreditations which include the first education / training provider in the UK to be awarded the Training Quality Standard with excellence in Nuclear and Engineering.

Accreditations

Our Apprenticeship programme is accredited by the Institute of Mechanical Engineering (IMechE) and the Institute of Engineering Designers. This means that at the end of your Advanced Engineering Apprenticeship, you can apply for professional registration as an Engineering Technician (EngTech).
