You will learn basic engineering drawing, measuring and marking out, knowledge of engineering materials and handling of engineering information, fitting using hand skills, machining using engineering materials and producing engineering drawings using CAD (Computer Aided Design).

Travel to and from Training 2000 premises and the Risley Offices in the first year will be provided.

Accreditations

Our Apprenticeship programme is accredited by the Institute of Mechanical Engineering (IMechE) and the Institute of Engineering Designers. This means that at the end of your Advanced Engineering Apprenticeship, you can apply for professional registration as an Engineering Technician (EngTech).
