You will need to be striving for grade 5/6 (2017 GCSE grading structure), or have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade B, or National 5 Grade C including English, Mathematics and a Science subject and you need to be computer literate. You should also be able to demonstrate an interest in engineering.

Recruitment Process

Click on the following link Apprentice Opportunities to see details of all our current roles. View the role you are interested in and click on apply - you will be required to register if you haven't already done so.

We'll review your application and let you know if you'll be progressing to the next stage. Your application will be reviewed on the basis of your qualifications, skills and personal statement.

If you are shortlisted we'll invite you to a friendly face-to-face interview and arrange for you to attend an assessment centre. It's really important to us that you feel relaxed so we can see you at your best, so we'll give you time to prepare.

If you are successful at the assessment centre / interview we will call you to offer you a place on our Apprentice Programme. If you aren't successful at this time we'll let you know and if you'd like more feedback on why, just ask.

The nuclear industry is heavily regulated, so before you join us you'll need to complete our pre-employment screening process. We do ask for quite a lot of information but don't worry we'll guide you through this step by step.
